The sound of the clock ticking is overshadowing my Peachtree Road Race training. When did the race get LESS THAN A WEEK away?! Holy Moses! Thank God I ran at the beach last week. So who's got their Peacthree Road Race bibs already? Apparently, numbers will be arriving in a few weeks for those who requested them by mail. I, unfortunately, had to apply for a number. I put some new shoes on…

Behold! The latest addition to my family of Mizunos: the Wave Inspire 6. They replace my Wave Nirvana 5s. They're not being replaced, really. I like to think of it as retirement. Distance running is serious business. It’s not for the faint-of-heart. Literally.
