Peachtree Road Race — the heart of the matter

If you've read any part of my blog before, you know how much I love race photos. Seriously. I love them. So you can only imagine how disappointed I was when I realized that MarathonFoto found no pictures of me this year. 7 years I've been running this race, and it usually yields 3-6 pictures that my family shares with each other, laughs about, and even has purchased in the past. By this time tomorrow, I will have completed my 7th Peachtree Road Race. I will have also hopefully showered, napped, and be preparing for a long day of celebrating our nation's independence! Washed-out warrior

So I just decided to pull some of my warrior dash pictures. Hilarious. My favorite....   Mudtastic. I think at this point, I had a rasberry on my ass/thigh the size of a frisbee; my shins were screaming; my right bicep felt like it had been ripped in half; and I had mud in place you aren't supposed to have mud.
