If you’ve ever run the Atlanta Half Marathon on Thanksgiving, congrats! Not only have you completed a half, but you’ve also run one of the best half marathons in America according to Daily Burn.
Atlanta’s Half has been named in the list of The Daily Burn’s Top 50 Half Marathons in The U.S.
I personally have never had the pleasure of competing a half marathon, much less the prestigious Atlanta Half Marathon. But if I was going to complete one, if would be this one! The course looks AWESOME — starting and finishing at Turner Field with a sweet northern sweep through some of the best parts of The A. Not to mention it’s a great way to start a beloved holiday of eating and sitting around watching football.
Figures that it would make it onto a “best” list!
The Atlanta Half beat out some other pretty popular Georgia half marathons, like the Savannah Rock & Roll Marathon and Half Marathon, the Silver Comet Marathon and Half Marathon, and the Callaway Gardens Marathon and Half Marathon.
The 2014 Atlanta Half Marathon will be held on Thursday, Nov 27. Registration fees range from $55-$95. All runners will receive a long-sleeve performance t-shirt and a finisher’s medal.
